Graham has been painting professionally for the past 28 years and his work has appeared in numerous history books and graces the walls of historians and collectors worldwide. Rachel Wright

Rachel's exquisite embroideries delicately echo aspects of landscape, nature and the sea, in hand or machine embroidered collages, using intricately worked vibrant threads, beautiful fabrics and papers. Carefully chosen iridescent fabrics capture the light and bring the work to life.

The majority of her work is created using machine embroidery but when time allows her favourite way to work is entirely in hand stitch. This is a time consuming and demanding way to work but produces focussed, detailed results. Rachel works from her Buckinghamshire village home and she has exhibited with The Society of Designer Craftsmen and regukarly at Obsidian Art. She also shows at many Designer Maker fairs and prestigious art and craft events as well as undertaking commission work.

See a selection of Rachel's work currently available on our online shop.

Rachel will be demonstrating at the gallery on Thursday 13 June & Thursday 20 June from 2pm.

Richard Ballantyne

Richard’s wonderful ceramics are as varied as the British climate – work being both sculptural and functional, life-size to miniature - Raku to high-fired porcelain. He is best known for the character animals and in particular his evil chickens

Richard will be
demonstrating at the gallery on Tuesday 18 June from 1pm

Sally Fisher

Colour, light, form and movement in a variety of subject matter from the landscapes of life.

Sally says, " I find painting a bit like eating a meal. You can taste all the colours, textures, and bite on the mark making and structure. You know when it needs more salt or spice, and leave the palette asking for more. Colour carries feeling, tone and form deliver mood and narrative. As I painter I seek to balance these elements as I explore the essence of whatever I am painting be it a person, landscape or still life or expression. Life and movement are also an intrinsic part of how I see things. All life moves, even still life! "

Sally will be
demonstrating at the gallery on Monday 10 June, Monday 17 June and Sunday 23 June from 2pm

Sarah Rooms-Heaphy

Delicate porcelain ceramics inspired by the sea and landscape of the south coast of England. Individually hand-built; these ceramics incorporate collected textures from my travels. They are washed with delicate colours of the sea, beach and headlands, incorporating photographic transfer details.

Sarah will be exhibiting a range of her vessels alongside some exciting wall hung panels.

Sarah's exquisite ceramics are always available from Obsidian Art, but this will be a great opportunity to see a much larger range than we can normally stock.

will be demonstrating at the gallery on Friday 14 June, Tuesday 18 June and Friday 21 June from 12-3pm.
